Reporting to the C.E.O, the successful candidate will be a seasoned negotiator with extensive experience of developing new opportunities, will develop LFL business with existing customers by understanding product performance & competitor activity.

To extend the Tinc brand distribution into new territories, across all retail formats and market sectors. Negotiate and finalise deals with new customers. Fully understand the operational requirements of a new customer to ensure a successful launch. Build strong working relationships, and understanding of customers businesses to support LFL growth. Act as a Tinc brand ambassador.

Engage with prospective partners in targeted markets or businesses. Analyse margin opportunity and likely terms for each new opportunity. Review any legal documentation and bring to CEO for sign off. Bring deals to a timely conclusion. Utilise previous business relationships and contacts to 'open doors' for the Tinc brand. Communicating new range opportunities to further drive sales..

Driving license required, foreign language skills a bonus.

Wholesale Administrator

Head Office - Corsham

Are you confident, organised, flexible, team player?

Providing support to the wholesale team and reporting to the Wholesale Manager, the successful candidate will be proficient in Word, Excel , Powerpoint, enjoy being part of a teamand a motivated self starter.

Attendance and support at wholesale fairs as and when required with the ability and confidence to represent the tinc brand in an enthusiastic manner.

Accuracy and communication skills, both written and verbal are essential attributes, along with the ability to remain calm under pressure.

The successful candidate will need to maintain accurate records of wholesale orders and shipments on the
Prima stock management system
Ensure all new customers are set up accurately the system.
Manage delivery dates of open sales orders
Work with Wholesale teammanaging customer expectations on deliveries
Collate information to support the new business team

Availability to travel on an ad hoc basis for wholesale events, and a driving license are essential and previous experience of Prima or similar stock management systema bonus

Merchandise Administration Assistant

JOB TITLE: Merchandise Administration Assistant

REPORTS TO: Buying & Merchandising Manager

KEY CONTACTS: Buying & Merchandising Manager, Assistant Buyer, Buying Administration Assistant, eCommerce team, external wholesale customers (e.g. John Lewis & Partners), external logistics providers (e.g. MIQ)

JOB PURPOSE:

To support the Buying & Merchandising manager and Asst Buyer to develop and deliver a commercial and profitable range, on time for launch.                                                                          

To maintain a product range and keep in stock of all products in order to deliver the sales and margin budgets for all channels.                                  

To assist in planning country specific ranges for new Tinc customers as the brand grows and develops.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

ANALYSIS

  • Produce all product and wholesale trade reports                     
  • Produce all monthly analysis required for Month end                             
  • Produce all seasonal analysis for planning, range build and sign off meetings
  • Produce all historical information and analysis for planning and sign off meetings

DELIVERIES

  • To update and maintain the PO tracker and advise B&M manager of all upcoming shipments and all delivery slippages                             
  • Track all shipments from goods handover to the freight forwarder to delivery into the end warehouse
  • Load all PO's into the freight forwarders system for management
  • Inform all internal customers of low stock and out of stock options (B&M team, eCom team, Wholesale team)

STOCK

  • Manage all promotions and prices in the system
  • Upload all initial allocation stock levels
  • Manage all replenishment levels by option                               
  • Update line card actual data for B&M manager to forecast              
  • Action all stock pushes as directed ahead of key selling times, promotions and ESS's
  • Manage all stock movements on the system as directed by the B&M manager
  • Manage all recodes on the system, from season to season              
  • Manage perpetual stock count option schedule

GENERAL

  • Manage internal communications and deal with queries, questions and any necessary updates
  • Ensure the Tinc range plans are kept up to date with accurate information for the B&M manager and Asst buyer to use daily  
  • Complete and issue the Ops tracker weekly
  • Produce and issue promo and MD lines lists
  • Manage all attributes on products and Tinc range plan

Online Marketplace Manager

JOB TITLE: Online Marketplace Manager

REPORTS TO: Head of eCommerce

ROLE OVERVIEW                                                                                                                            

As part of our ambitious growth plans for 2019 and beyond, Tinc are seeking an experienced Online Marketplace Manager to join our small eCommerce team.

In this newly created role, the Online Marketplace Manager will assume responsibility for the full breadth of our Amazon relationship (primarily VendorCentral, but with the opportunity to leverage SellerCentral if appropriate) as well as having the opportunity to shine even brighter through the introduction of entirely new marketplaces such as eBay, Rakuten or other (more specialised) options.

The ideal candidate would strike a balance between strategic planning and everyday doing, as this role requires the successful applicant to first work with the Head of eCommerce to formulate a long-term marketplace strategy, followed by a willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to then actually deliver on that plan.                                                                                                                     

ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Head of eCommerce, the Marketplace Manager role will cover these key responsibilities…

  • Creating and optimising product listings on marketplaces (esp Amazon), including planning launching & monitoring promotions to increase traffic and sales
  • Management of marketplaces (Amazon/eBay etc) across the UK & EU, and helping Tinc to identify the best means of expansion into other territories
  • Ongoing management of the Amazon Product Catalogue, ensuring all product information is optimised (titles, descriptions, keywords, bullet points etc) and that A+ content is deployed to full effect wherever possible
  • Identifying challenges, problems and opportunities within our Marketplace channels, coordinating with other departments to resolve & realise these
  • Occasional market/competitor analysis to identify and react to the ever-changing trends within digital retail
  • Coordinating with other teams for product info, sales feedback, product recommendations, stock replenishment etc
  • Monitoring product ratings, customer feedback and interactions on marketplaces

ABOUT THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

As a newly created role the definition of ‘ideal’ is up for grabs, as the successful applicant will play a part in shaping the responsibilities and future development of the role. In any case though, key attributes would include:

  • Strong understanding and demonstrable experience of Amazon marketplace management, ideally via a Vendor Central relationship
  • Able to build productive working relationships with account managers and other relevant teams within the marketplaces, especially Amazon Vendor Managers & Support Teams
  • Prior experience working with either Amazon Media Group, AMS, AAP, Sponsored products, Adwords or PPC campaigns
  • Experience in & proven record of successfully managing and growing Amazon inventory and/or other marketplaces with fast-moving products on a newly -established Amazon seller account
  • Able to make data-influenced decisions to calculate fulfilment quantities, promotional opportunities, product development or merchandising requirements etc
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel’s key functions, with an ability to pull together and cross-analyse multiple datasets. High computer literacy in general is advantageous.
  • Able to manage a pre-set budget, but equally willing to identify opportunities for incremental activity and ‘fight your corner’ for redeployment of the digital marketing budget into your area
  • Sales focused with an entrepreneurial spirit and a good sense of humour that would fit well within a diverse and friendly – yet still quite small – team of passionate individuals

ABOUT THE ROLE

In this newly defined role of Web Merchandiser – Content & Creative, the successful applicant will own all of the day to day activities on tinc.uk.com as well as supporting the wider team on our international website partnerships and other marketplaces such as Amazon and eBay.

Reporting to the Head of eCommerce, the Web Merchandiser – Content & Creative will cover these key responsibilities…

  • Adding and updating products to/on the Tinc website, including copywriting and identifying the best way to present features and benefits to both end users (children) and customers (parents)
  • Supporting the addition of products to our Amazon catalogue, including both basic and A+ copywriting
  • Drafting customer-facing emails and developing Tinc’s ‘tone of voice’ to deliver consistently engaging and highly converting email communications
  • Creating basic email assets (headers, banners etc) using Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator or similar
  • Being one of the ‘voices of Tinc’ on Facebook Messenger, responding directly to customers in a timely and efficient manner
  • Researching and producing editorial and article content for both Tinc and external websites, driving SEO gains and building engagement through ‘real’ and useful content
  • Working closely with other teams and external agencies to source accurate, detailed and helpful product information on which to base copy and articles
  • General administration within the eCommerce team; ad hoc traffic reporting, process improvements, campaign performance monitoring etc
  • General support as required by the head of eCommerce

ABOUT THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

This role requires a self-motivated individual who is methodical, well organised and with a command of (and a real love for) language and writing. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and who learns quickly, with an ability to quickly identify an audience and adapt your writing to suit. You should possess an ability to work well under pressure, whilst ensuring tasks are executed to the highest possible standards. Other key attributes of the successful applicant would include:

  • Extremely strong command of language, able to both write accurate and effective copy as well as proof and edit the work of others
  • Strong level of general computer literacy, ideally including website content management and email management systems
  • Understanding of Google Analytics (Preferred)
  • Experience of using photo and image editing software such as Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator
  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Working closely with other teams and external agencies to optimise the sales and engagement received through the Tinc and Amazon web stores
