JOB TITLE; Merch Admin Asst

REPORTS TO; B&M Manager

JOB PURPOSE                                                                                                                            

To support the Buying & Merchandising manager and Asst Buyer to develop and deliver a commercial and profitable range, on time for launch.

To maintain a product range and keep in stock of all products in order to deliver the sales and margin budgets for all channels.

To assist in planning country specific ranges for new Tinc customers as the brand grows and develops.

                                                                                                                                      

MERCHANDISE ADMIN ASST

FOCUS
ANALYSIS                          RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Produce all product and store trade reports
     
  • Produce all monthly analysis required by Month end 
     
  • Produce all seasonal analysis for planning, range build and sign off meetings
     
  • Produce all historical information and analysis for planning and sign off meetings
     
  • Produce all necessary wholesale and shows analysis monthly and seasonally
     
  • Actualize WSSI data weekly

                                                                                                                                      

DELIVERIES

  • To update and maintain the PO tracker and advise B&M manager of all upcoming shipments and all delivery slippages
     
  • Track all shipments from goods handover to the freight forwarder to delivery into the end warehouse.
     
  • Load all PO's into the freight forwarders system for management
     
  • Liaise with the Tinc warehouse with intake priorities, update regional managers and stores with new lines due weekly
     
  • Inform all internal customers of low stock and out of stock options (B&M team, ecomap team, retail team, WS team).

                                                                                                                                      

STOCK 

  • Manage all promotions and prices in the system and on the store tills.
     
  • Produce barcode scanner sheet for store internal use 
     
  • Upload all initial allocation stock levels for retail stores and Tinc website and Shows 
     
  • Manage all replenishment levels by option for all retail stores and Tinc website.
     
  • Update line card actual data for B&M manager to forecast
     
  • Action all stock pushes as directed ahead of key selling times, promotions and ESS's 
     
  • Manage all stock movements on the system as directed by the B&M manager
     
  • Update and issue the Store weekly order form, until auto replenishment is sufficient for stock needs
     
  • Manage all recodes on the system, from season to season
     
  • Action all recalls from stores as directed by B&M manager
     
  • Manage perpetual stock count option schedule

                                                                                                                       

GENERAL

  • Manage store communications and deal with queries, questions and any necessary updates.
     
  • Ensure the Tinc range plans are kept up to date with accurate information for the B&M manager and Asst buyer to use daily
     
  • Complete and issue the Ops tracker weekly
     
  • Produce and issue promo and MD lines lists to retail & Ecom
     
  • Manage all attributes on products and Tinc range plan
     
  • Store visits Tinc stores seasonally, to understand customers and store challenges

To assist in developing and producing country specific ranges for new Tinc customers as the brand grows and develops.

BUYERS ADMIN ASST

FOCUS                                RESPONSIBILITIES

PRODUCTS

  •  To set up all new products in the internal system(s)
     
  • Product maintenance - all manage all product amendments within the system(s)
     
  • To supply the Tinc web team with all product information and photograph for online product selling
     
  • To Supply JLP team with all product information and photographs for in store and online selling

PURCHASE ORDERS

  • To raise all new buy purchase orders for all channels and customers in line with the Tinc critical path
     
  • To raise all repeat purchase orders for all channels and customers in line with the critical path
     
  • To keep on top of all necessary purchase order amendments, after approval of B&M manager.
     
  • Tracking of all purchase order from when placed with supplier until ex fcty, ensuring on time handover of goods to the freight forwarder.                                                                       

ADMINISTRATION

  • Sample management; to request all buying, wholesale and photography samples. To track all samples from arrival to end use, to ensure all samples are organized and accessible for all meeting requirements.
                                                                   
  • To ensure all photography samples are ordered and delivered on time for all flat and lifestyle photoshoots for online selling and all Tinc catalogues

We are recruiting a Saturday Part Time Sales Assistant for our Salcombe store, this will be on a 14 hour contract initially with the initial hours to be a minimum of 14 hours per week.
